History of TLC

In the fall of 1992, a small group of student affairs professionals representing colleges and
universities throughout the Metroplex met to discuss the challenges involved with providing quality
leadership programs.  Everyone agreed that a collaborative approach would improve training for
students while providing support and education for professional staff.  Since then, the group has
experienced tremendous growth.  Currently, professionals from 18 colleges and universities
throughout North Texas comprise TLC’s membership.
